Hurricane Hill Stables is located in Mason, New Hampshire which is a quiet, country town on the Townsend, MA state line. We're just 3 towns west of Nashua, NH & just 3 miles from routes 119 & 13. We border the Boynton Town Forest in Mason which borders the Townsend State Forest in MA. We can ride the trails for miles without having to cross roads! There are all kinds of trails & terrain to explore with trails for novice trail riders on up. It is very scenic & quiet with lots of wild life, mountain laurel & wild blueberries which bloom in June/July. We do not bring very beginners on trails but are very happy to teach you the skills required to get out there & ride safely!
English or western riding lessons are taught by Kimberly Vocell. I am a licensed instructor with several years of experience teaching & training both horse & rider. I enjoy teaching very beginners on up. New students are always welcome! Check out my lessons page to learn more about my history with horses & style of teaching. I strive to teach students to enjoy & respect horses as I do.
Pictured are some of my students & horses including one of me on Storm. Horses have been my passion for years & I love to share that with students. I currently have 8 horses including an APHA stallion (Storm, pictured above) trained in reining. We have had many of our horses since their birth.
